GENERAL
Many countries in- and outside Europe have complicated customs procedures. Over the years Hintex has gained an extensive knowledge to clear goods in a rapid and efficient fashion through the customs. This expertise, coupled to a position of trust, makes it possible for Hintex to use simplified customs formalities. This speeds matters up considerably.
Besides its head office in Rotterdam, Hintex also has an office at Schiphol Airport, for the handling of customs formalities. Apart from creating transit documents, Hintex can also take care of customers' export documents and clearances. Both offices have at their disposal direct lines with the computerized system of the Dutch Customs Authorities.
Goods can be cleared via the electronic highway through the Sagitta import system in each and every plance in the Netherlands. Similarly export documents can be directly processed through customs in an identical manner.
Hintex is also permitted to act as a fiscal representative with limited liability. A fiscal representative can act on behalf o fa foreign company established in the European Union as regards the imports of the goods as well as the subsequent delivery of the goods within the European Union. This is an advantage for the foreign company because it does not have to pay the VAT at the same time when goods are imported. Instead thereof the company concerned can include VAT in its normal periodical tax return in its own land of registration Location
