CargoClaims, a product developed by CargoHub BV, has been selected as one of the three finalists for the Air Cargo Innovation Awards 2014, initiated by IATA. At the closing plenary of the 2015 WCS in Shanghai, ms. Kiona van de Burg will present the business concept during the final round presentation.
“We are so proud of being one of the finalists for this prestigious award”, says founder Raoul Paul. Kiona van de Burg, who is responsible for promotion and implementation of the product adds: “It has only been one year since we have launched our CargoClaims product. Our objective was to enable freight forwarders, airlines, GSSA’s and ground handling agents to manage their claims and incidents more efficiently, quickly and cost-effectively. Being nominated a year later for the IATA Air Cargo Innovation Awards resulting in a finalists position, is a confirmation of our proof of concept.”
CargoClaims offers an integrated and centralized platform for issue management, file sharing between different stakeholders while enclosing the entire air cargo supply chain. It covers the complete process directly from the occurrence of an irregularity until the moment of finalizing a claim. This online claim management system offers the industry a solution to efficiently and professionally manage claims for each individual chain party involved in the supply chain. Creating transparency, improving claim recovery, introducing automated flows, reporting possibilities and root-cause analyses, will result in improving the customer’s experience.
The IATA Air Cargo Innovation Awards is an initiative, which strives to drive greater innovation by encouraging entrepreneurial ideas for the air cargo industry. During the closing plenary of the WCS Thursday the 12th of March, the CargoClaims business concept will be presented. Raoul and Kiona will also be present the other days of the Symposium; “Would you be interested, please feel free to contact us in advance and it will be our pleasure to meet up in Shanghai. We hope to see you soon at the WCS!”
